Design, fabrication and installation of an HDPE-lined steel slurry pipeline system for Impala Platinum, including full fabrication scope, on-site installation and planned shutdown support.
The Challenge
Highly abrasive platinum slurry requiring wear-resistant lining solutions, coordinated with mine shutdown windows to minimise production impact.
Our Solution
HDPE-lined steel pipe selected for optimal abrasion resistance. Wetpipe managed full fabrication and coordinated installation within the planned shutdown schedule.
The Outcome
System commissioned on time within the shutdown window with zero production delays. Pipeline delivered full design flow rates from commissioning.
